Make sure you don’t chase bubbles

We want to help you invest ahead of the curve, to spot emerging markets before they really take off, but also understand when they are fully valued and no longer warrant a ‘buy’ signal. Professional property investment is based on sound fundamentals. Whatever is happening in the market, as long as your investment is self-financing you have no cause to worry. Despite the sometimes sharp fluctuations in values in the short term, property has always been a sound long-term investment. Speculation is for the short term (and perhaps risk-taking) thinker: investment is for the long term.

Buying with your pension

Even within the UK you can invest in property through your pension – particularly if it’s a SIPP (Self-Invested Personal Pension). The way to do this is by purchasing a room or suite in one of the aparthotel schemes on offer, which typically promise a guaranteed return for as much as the first 10 years, then a share of the room revenue thereafter. In order for it to qualify for inclusion in a SIPP, you will have to give up your right to free stays, but you will gain extra revenue, as well as that massive pension tax relief.
